In the summer semester 2026, students from the University of Łodz (Poland) and Justus Liebig University Giessen (Germany) will be taking part in an online collaboration project (“virtual exchange”). Students will work in mixed-nationality pairs and create a joint final product together.
Duration: first week of May - first week of June
Project outline:
1. Both groups will meet in an online kick-off meeting on 5 May, at 19:00 where they will be assigned to mixed-nationality pairs.
2. In the following weeks, students will work together on their project, creating a short video, mini-podcast, presentation or an infographic on their chosen topic. A list of suggested topics will be provided. Students will schedule their meetings independently. The teachers will be available for individual consultation.
3. Students will be required to submit a draft of their project by 20 May.
4. Students will present their completed project in a second online group meeting at the beginning of June (exact date to be announced).
5. JLU students will be required to submit a short reflection on the project by the end of June (guidelines and exact deadline to be provided nearer the time)
